Hi and welcome!

I was born a rainy summerday 1960 - it was the 6th of August in a hospital in Lund, Sweden. My hometown since then is Eslöv in south Sweden. My parents Lilja (1918-1978) and Gunnar (1918-1990) gave me the name Lars Gunnar Mikael Karlsson, normally I am only using the name Lars. My nickname is Lasse. I have two younger siblings, Leif (1962-) and Eva (1965-).

I am an engineer in electronics. I am working with computers and I am especially interested in operating systems (performance, daily use, security problems etc) and Internet. I have been using the net since 1984/85.

I am single and I do not have any children. I like to travel around. Especially I like to be in Rio de Janeiro where I am oftenly can be seen in Copacabana.

My interests are, besides travelling, computers, litterature, meeting friends, photographing (preference black and white), politics (actual society problems), mathematics, astronomy and physics. I speak Swedish, English and Portuguese.
